The location was comfortable for Wantage, short walk to horse racing, bar/restaurant and everything, including specific breakfast requests and even maintenance. The beds were incredibly large, I slept well.

Charming Getaway with Room for Improvement
The dining experience fell short as the staff lacked knowledge about the menu. I'd recommend confirming any special items before dining.

Cozy pub atmosphere, extensive drink selection, secure bike lockers
The rooms could use a bit more space for comfort!!! A larger shower might improve the experience!!! The bar seating arrangements felt cramped during busy hours!!!

The atmosphere was good, with a charming garden setting that featured a BBQ and live music. The individually decorated rooms exuded comfort and high standards. Breakfast offered an excellent variety with delicious organic fruits and friendly staff. The lack of air-conditioning on a hot night was a challenge, despite provided fans, which slightly hindered the comfort level.

The room was compact but had everything we needed, like fresh milk for tea and lovely body lotions. The garden offered a peaceful spot to unwind and a lovely area to sip coffee. The only small issue was the warmth in the room, but fans helped a lot, so no biggie! 😊

Couples looking for a charming escape
The food at dinner was excellent, I mean, the steak was cooked just right, and the homemade biscuits after were a nice touch.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but still acceptable.

Wonderful stay with really good service
The staff were pretty good too. The breakfast was a highlight, with a variety of delicious options that was great. While the charming location offered tranquility, some rooms might be a bit exposed to nearby houses, necessitating blinds to maintain privacy.
